It’s difficult to tell if this will be a plus or a minus for Mitt Romney’s floundering presidential campaign. A comic book featuring Romney will be available in book stores and on Amazon starting Wednesday.

The 32-page work, titled “Political Power: Mitt Romney,” is written by New York Times bestselling author Marc Shapiro and published by Bluewater Productions.

The publisher certainly doesn’t sound politically unbiased. In its news release touting the new book, Bluewater writes, “Mitt Romney is smart, principled, and he knows how to crunch numbers, which is why the Republican Party sees him as the Great White Hope in the 2012 presidential election.”

On the other hand, the release also states that “smart is sexy” in relation to Romney. The book’s focus is “how Mitt Romney got to frontrunner status on the political right,” the release says.

Subjects of past Bluewater comic books include Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush, Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Nancy Pelosi.
