Burger King has launched a test run in select cities of its most interesting menu item to date; the bacon ice cream sundae.

The sundae, only available in Nashville, Tennessee thus far as part of a test launch, is among the menu items offered as part of the company’s $750 million makeover and will feature an actual slice of bacon with a swirl of chocolate syrup and caramel sauce on top of vanilla ice cream.

The test-run in Southern locations will feature sweet-potato fries, a pulled-pork sandwich, and frozen lemonade.

Burger King is just the latest fast food enterprise to jump on the bacon train. Denny’s unveiled a bacon maple sundae last year, and Jack in the Box recently added a bacon-flavored milkshake to their menu.

The fast food chain also added some additional menu options for the more nutrition minded including salads, smoothies, and snack wraps, as part of their redesign.
