Even Donald Rumsfeld Subjected to TSA Pat-Down

Even former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld isn’t safe from the clutches of Transportation Security Administration screeners. Rumsfeld received a pat-down from TSA screeners at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport Wednesday, The Hill reported.

Donald Rumsfeld, TSA, pat-downThe man who led the Defense Department at the time of the 9/11 terrorist attacks cooperated with the search and was allowed to continue on his way. One report said other passengers recognized him, and he waved at a group of soldiers, The Hill reported.

The TSA has received widespread criticism for intrusive security searches, including full body scanners and hand searches of the elderly and children.
