The Pacific Palisades, Calif., home that was Ronald Reagan’s primary residence from 1957 until he sold it in 1981 is up for sale, according to real estate research firm Zillow.

Asking price for the home, 1669 San Onofre Drive, is $4.999 million, according to an article by Zillow’s Erika Riggs on NBCNews.com.

When Reagan moved in, he was working for General Electric. He moved out after he was elected president.

The 4,764-square-foot ranch-style home has views of Santa Monica Bay. Reagan’s home was one of the first gems in the area, which back in the day wasn’t the big celebrity neighborhood that it is now.

Reagan’s home is in an "unbelievable location," Sally Forster Jones, a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker, told Zillow.
