PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Authorities in Oregon say they've found the body of a 68-year-old Oregon man who was stuck in the snow for two months and kept a log of his ordeal.

The Linn County sheriff's office said Jerry McDonald's journal indicates he got stuck on Feb. 14. His last entry was on April 15, 60 days later.

A U.S. Forest Service survey crew found his body Friday in a sleeping bag in the back of his truck on a forest service road about four miles from Marion Forks.

Deputies say McDonald had warm clothing and water, but no food or cell phone.

There were no signs of foul play, and he had not been reported missing. An autopsy was scheduled.
