BROOKLYN PARK, Md. — Police have found a man, a woman, and two children have been found shot to death inside a Maryland home.

Lt. J.D. Batten, with Anne Arundel County Police, said officers were called to the home in Brooklyn Park on Sunday morning. A woman called police after getting a disturbing text message from a relative who lived at the home, Batten said.

Officers heard a single gunshot as they arrived. They immediately went inside and found the four people dead. All four lived in the home.

Officers believe that the gunshot was the man who sent the text message shooting himself.
