Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” is losing its liberal audience since the billionaire began his campaign to force President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate, says The Atlantic.

The news outlet says it got “exclusive” demographic research of primetime television audiences from National Media Inc. which found The Donald’s show has some of the most Democratic-leaning around.

"I was surprised to find that Celebrity Apprentice was so liberal,” Will Feltus, MRI’s senior vice president for research told The Atlantic. “But it is clearly a Democratic audience.”

Viewership for “Celebrity Apprentice” was up by 2.5 million on last year’s figures by its fifth week, which aired on April 3 when Trump’s campaign to press Obama on the birth certificate issue began to gain traction, says The Atlantic.

But two weeks later, when the show should have been heating up as it moved toward its finale, he had lost more than 2 million and was lagging well behind last year’s numbers.

A second media analyst said: Something is definitely going on there. He’s dropped — and that’s a big dip.”

Trump first called for Obama to release his birth certificate on March 23. The President finally relented yesterday.
