CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities in Cincinnati say at least 11 people have been taken to hospitals with minor injuries from a partial collapse at a casino under construction.

Fire officials said 13 were hospitalized, while police said at least 11 were.

Rock Gaming, one of the developers, says in a statement that a floor collapsed as concrete was being poured. Police spokesman Lt. Maurice Robinson says a 30 foot by 50 foot section of floor went down.

Messer Construction Co. of Cincinnati says it's trying to learn more about what happened.

Roads around the casino have been closed by police.

A partial collapse of a garage at another Ohio casino under construction occurred last month. The same developers are behind that casino, in Cleveland. No one was injured.
