President and CEO of American Crossroads Steven Law released the following statement on the Supreme Court ruling on the Obamacare law:

“While we would have preferred to see Obamacare struck down, this decision will drive Republican voter intensity sky-high. The last time Obamacare was litigated in a general election, Republicans picked up an historic number of seats in the U.S. House and made big gains in the U.S. Senate. President Obama is no longer defending an abstract idea, but a wildly unpopular law that will be implemented two months after the election and make health care more expensive, force millions of families out of their current coverage, and impose numerous job-killing tax hikes.

“Our message is that even the Supreme Court couldn’t protect Americans from what this law will do to their jobs and health care, voters can and will fight back. The Supreme Court effectively made the 2012 elections the most important in a century, and dramatically energized the center-right coalition in the process.”
