Clint Eastwood's mention of Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, at the Spike TV Guys' Choice awards on Saturday night will be censored from the broadcast, which airs June 18.

USA Today reported that the "American Sniper" director was introducing Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson when he mentioned Jenner.

Eastwood, 85, reportedly said that Johnson had gone from being a professional athlete to an actor — just like "Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody."

Johnson, a former pro wrestler, has been featured in the "Fast and Furious" movie franchise, and is also the star of the new action flick "San Andreas" as well as HBO's new series "Ballers."

Similarly, Jim Brown transitioned from NFL fullback to one of "The Dirty Dozen."

Likewise, Bruce Jenner won the Olympic gold medal for the men's decathlon in 1976, and went on to appear in "CHiPs" and a number of movies before becoming a reality TV star on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Jenner debuted his new female identity last week on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

David Schwarz, Spike TV senior vice president of communications, said after the awards show that Eastwood will be censored.

"We will remove the reference in the version that will air," Schwarz wrote in an email to USA Today.
