Feisty freshman Florida Rep. Allen West, R, leads his Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy 53 percent to 41 percent in the state’s 18th District, according to a poll from
StPetePoll.org.
Other polls from the group in key Florida districts show:
• Republican Adam Hasner with a 45 to 44 percent lead over Democrat Lois Frankel in the 22nd District
• Republican Vern Buchanan with a 55 to 38 percent lead over Democrat Keith Fitzgerald in the 16th District
• Democrat Alan Grayson with a 45 to 42 percent lead over Republican Todd Long in the 9th District
• Republican Daniel Webster with a 51 to 40 percent lead over Democrat Val Demings in the 10th District.
