Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, are throwing a birthday party for first lady hopeful Ann Romney and gifts are definitely not optional. Those wishing to attend are being asked to contribute $1,000 to her husband’s presidential campaign, the
New York Post reported.
The party for Ann, who is turning 63, will be at the Trumps’ apartment in the eponymously named Trump Tower April 17. For $10,000 attendees can be named a host at the Women for Romney event.
Former Jamaican Ambassador Brenda Johnson, who is helping with the guest list, told the Post that those who have already maxed out their contribution to Mitt’s campaign “may attend by bringing a new paying guest.”
