Trump: Paris Attack a Warning, 'Get Smart US'

President Donald Trump cited the Paris attack involving a machete-wielding man shouting "Allahu akbar" at the Louvre museum Friday as a warning to the U.S. about the dangers of radical Islamic terror.

"Get smart, U.S.," he wrote.

It was the latest — though this time unsuccessful — of several terrorist attacks to have hit France the past two years.

France has the highest percentage of Muslims of any country in Western Europe, a fact likely not lost on the president when he instituted his controversial travel ban earlier this week.

French soldiers were able to neutralize Friday's attacker without any harm to civilians.
