Poll: Moore Leading Strange in Alabama GOP Runoff for Senate

Roy Moore is leading Sen. Luther Strange by eight percentage points as the Alabama Republican Senate runoff race is just over a week away, a new JMC Analytics poll reveals.

Here is how the survey breaks down:

• Forty-seven percent of voters favored Moore, a former chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, and 39 percent supported Strange. Thirteen percent said they were undecided.
• Thirty-six percent say Strange is part of the Washington, D.C. swamp President Donald Trump campaigned against, while 35 percent disagree. Twenty-eight percent were undecided.
• Sixty-six percent of those surveyed described themselves as evangelical Christians, while 24 percent did not.

Voters will go to the polls next Tuesday. The winner will go up against Democrat Doug Jones, according to The Washington Times.
