House Republican Leader Eric Cantor is planning a fundraising stop in the important swing state of Florida.

An email distributed by the Boca Raton Republican Club says that Cantor will be the special guest at a Dec. 11 reception in Boca Raton.

“Through his leadership, the Republican House has stopped tax increases, prevented further restrictive regulations on businesses and changed the debate in Washington from one of how much they can spend to how much government can shrink,” according to event organizers.

“He is working hard to deliver on the commitment of passing legislation to spur private sector job growth and restore fiscal responsibility. He is working to reduce the uncertainty that has pushed capital to the sidelines and once again begin incentivizing job creation in this country.”

Individuals may pay $500 to attend the event, $2,500 to be a sponsor or $5,000 to be a host.
