Plenty of Americans oppose President Barack Obama, as we know from his paltry approval rating — 43 percent in Gallup’s latest daily tracking poll. But 58 percent of voters who say they definitely will vote for or consider a candidate other than Obama hope for a new Republican entrant to join the race, according to a new poll from
Bloomberg News.
That compares to 28 percent who are mostly happy with the current crop of GOP contestants in the presidential race and 14 percent who are unsure.
A whopping 83 percent of Obama opponents say they favor a candidate who emphasizes almost exclusively social issues, while 10 percent prefer a candidate who barely touches those hotbed areas.
