The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is jumping into the Harry Reid-Sharron Angle Senate race in Nevada for the first time with a $2.5 million TV ad campaign for Reid in the final two weeks before the election.

The DSCC’s spending plan comes to light following the announcement this week that Angle raised an astounding $14.3 million over the past three months,
the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The ad campaign for Reid suggests the Senate Majority Leader “is not nearly as confident as he publicly claims to be,” said Brian Walsh, communications director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
