The Republican National Committee (RNC) denounced President Barack Obama’s fiscal 2013 budget, which includes a projected deficit of $901 billion.

The RNC put out a Web video criticizing the president for failing to reduce the deficit more in the budget, which was released Monday. And RNC Chairman Reince Priebus issued a statement making the same point, The Hill reports.

The video, titled "My Daughter's Future," states that "Obama is mortgaging our children’s future." A mother appears in the video saying, "Our children will have to pay for his reckless spending." A narrator ends the video saying, "President Obama, you broke your promise. I'll never forget that."

Obama’s budget is the latest "in a long line of failed promises that the American people won’t forget when they vote to put an end to his presidency this November,” Priebus said.

“President Obama promised to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term but instead ran up trillion dollar deficits every year he’s been in office. His budget for next year is more of the same. It’s full of more spending and more tax increases that have put this country deeper into debt.”
