RNC Head Priebus: Media Treat Paul Fairly

Presidential candidate Ron Paul has complained that the media aren’t giving him enough attention following his second-place finish in the Iowa Straw Poll this month.

Reince Priebus, RNC, Ron PaulBut Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is having none of it, The Hill reports.

"I think that candidates have to jockey for themselves a little bit," he told Fox News. "I think that he's getting a fair shake, but I think it also spells good news for Ron Paul."

Priebus also offered effusive praise for the Texas congressman. "Ron Paul has been championing these issues in regard to our spending and our debt and the Fed. The fact that these issues are mainstream conversations now that we're having at dinner tables across America, I think that's a good thing," he said. "And I think that Ron Paul should be credited for a lot of these things."
