Almost any poll you look at indicates Republicans will achieve a smashing victory Nov. 2. A new Politico-George Washington University Battleground Poll is no different: It shows Americans are upset with the way that President Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress have led the nation,
Politico reports.

The survey of likely voters shows that 64 percent of them believe the country is on the wrong track, and 56 percent “strongly” believe that. Not surprisingly, 91 percent of the Republicans consider the country to be on the wrong track, but 73 percent of independents believe it’s going backward, too.
Of those who think that way, 21 percent cite President Obama as the biggest reason, while 12 percent list Congress/Democrats, 11 percent cite their personal economic concerns, and 10 percent say the budget deficit/debt/government spending.
