A new biography of President Barack Obama by a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter will hit the bookstores just in time to play havoc with the 2012 elections. David Maraniss' book is entitled, “Barack Obama: The Story,” The Washington Post’s In the Loop blog reported.

Maraniss, who won a Pulitzer for his stories on President Bill Clinton while a reporter at the Post, has written bios of Roberto Clemente and Vince Lombardi. as well as one on Clinton called "First in His Class."

The Obama book is due out in June.

“We’re hearing that, in the same way Maraniss went several layers deep to get the real story of Clinton during his Georgetown and Oxford years, there’s some particularly good stuff about Obama’s years at Occidental College and in New York,” the Post reported.
