Michael Reagan, the conservative radio host and former President Ronald Reagan’s son, tells Newsmax he will deliver the keynote speech Friday night at an event in Las Vegas to support Sharron Angle. The close Nevada Senate contest pits Angle, a Republican, against Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat.

Reagan,Angle,Reid,McCain,ArmeyArizona Sen. John McCain also is expected to be there to lend his voice in one of the most pivotal races in the nation. The 'get-out-the-vote' event at the Orleans Hotel & Casino will also feature actor Jon Voight.

Final campaigning ahead of the Nov. 2 midterm elections is in full swing, with races in states that are viewed as tossups or leaning Republican getting the most attention.

After the Angle event, Reagan says he'll travel to Wisconsin to campaign this weekend for Republican Senate candidate Ron Johnson, who's trying to unseat Democrat incumbent Russ Feingold. In many of the major polls, this Wisconsin Senate race is leading Republican.

Johnson has received support from tea party organizations, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey's FreedomWorks, and anti-establishment GOP Sen. Jim DeMint.

Here's how DeMint described Johnson in an endorsement: Johnson is a "solid conservative businessman" who's already "ruffled a few Republican feathers in Washington with some of his anti-spending, pro-growth ideas."

Republicans need to pick-up 10 seats in the elections to take control of the Senate, and a net gain of 39 seats in win the House.
