Conservative Group Assails Union Bosses as 'Job Killers'

The conservative pro-business group Americans for Job Security has a commercial set to run during the Republican presidential debate tonight that labels “greedy union bosses” as job killers.

It stars a huge inflatable rodent: Richie the Rat. The commercial identifies Richie, who appears outside the National Labor Relations Board office, as the “one brave leader that is standing up to union bosses.”

“The recovery is slipping away. The housing market is still sinking, and the jobs aren’t coming back,” the ad’s narrator says. “Washington is making it worse. Greedy union bosses are calling the shots. They want their payback.”
