Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is in Washington, D.C., today to raise money and to talk in private about his 2012 presidential ambitions. He plans to raise funds for his political action committee, Huck PAC, and to answer the questions of those who can pay $1,000 apiece to ask him about his intentions,
The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Huckabee left a voice mail message this week with one potential donor, an organizer who billed the event as “a small group discussing his potential run for president,” the newspaper reported.
Huckabee continues to poll well and is near the lead in many tallies, even though he’s given few clues that he actually plans to run. He has said that he won’t make up his mind until the end of the summer. But many of his supporters are eager for him to run.
