Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, and Ben Carson are "all very nice people," real estate mogul Donald Trump said Monday, but he hesitated to say if any of them could become top tier candidates or if he'll be joining them soon on the growing list of GOP hopefuls.

"Who knows what happens," he told Fox News' "Fox & Friends" program. "It's a crazy world. We're living in a crazy world."

Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO, announced her bid officially for the presidency Monday on ABC News' "Good Morning America" program. Carson spilled the beans about his candidacy during a Sunday television interview, but the retired pediatric neurosurgeon is expected to make his official announcement on Monday in his hometown of Miami.

Huckabee, a former presidential candidate and governor of Arkansas, is expected to announce officially on Tuesday. Three other Republicans, U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio, are already officially in the race, and a total of 20 people, including Trump, are considering campaigns.

But Trump seemed to take a dim view of Fiorina's chances on Monday.

"Carly was dismissed, fired, really in a tough manner from Hewlett-Packard," he said. "She then ran for the Senate and, as you know from California, lost in a landslide. Now she's running. I wish her luck. I think she's probably a very nice person."

And even though Fiorina, Huckabee, and Carson are mounting campaigns this week, Trump said that their candidacies aren't inspiring him to run.

"What inspires me to run is I could do a better job than anybody else," Trump said. "That's how I built up a great company. We'll be talking about that. I like all three, but I don't think they have a great chance at it."
