The spat continues between Delaware Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell and her vanquished primary foe, Rep. Mike Castle. One of Castle’s senior aides told Politico that her boss won’t endorse O’Donnell for the general election. "She is a con artist who won by lying about Castle's positions and her own life," said the aide, Kate Dickens. "Out-of-state support was enough to pull her through yesterday, so she can rely on it through November."

Castle, O'Donnell, endorse, GOP, Delaware, con artist,Castle didn’t even mention O'Donnell in his concession speech Tuesday. But he did express pride in his team’s integrity, providing an unspoken rebuke to the attacks against him from O’Donnell and her backers.

During the summer Castle generally ignored O’Donnell, as he was considered the odds-on favorite. But as the primary neared and she surged, he had lambasted support for her that came from outside Delaware.
