Barbour: Republican Majority Is Here to Stay for Long Time

Democrats may hope that the majorities Republicans are creating in this election don’t last for more than two years. But that’s wishful thinking, says Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, head of the Republican Governors Association, Politico reports.

"You're going to have a great number of years in the majority," he told his supporters. "I don’t know how many years. It'll be more than two, I know that. Get ready for a big ride."
