Gingrich: Any Cliff Deal Will Be ‘Really Bad’

Newt Gingrich says he’s almost afraid that agreement will be reached to avoid the country from going over the so-called fiscal cliff, because the agreement will be “a really bad deal.”

“I don’t see any evidence that the president is prepared to deliver liberal Democrats in the Senate for any kind of spending cuts that matter,” Gingrich said in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV.

Instead, the former GOP speaker said House Republicans will be better off passing two tax bills before the end of the year. One would involve no tax increases for anybody, and the other would have no tax increases for anyone but the top two percent according to wealth.
