If Republicans find themselves running against Hillary Clinton in 2016, they should pause to remember the impeachment of her husband, President Bill Clinton, and how badly that effort backfired, author and actor Anita Finlay told Newsmax TV
"Republicans, forgive me, but they have in the past also been guilty of overplaying their hand when it comes to trying to rip a Clinton limb from limb," Finlay told "Midpoint" host Ed Berliner.

— a 2012 memoir of Clinton's failed 2008 presidential bid from the perspective of a Clinton backer — talked with "Midpoint" about the grilling she can expect as a presidential candidate.
The deadly 2012 attack on the U.S. embassy compound in Benghazi, Libya, which happened on Clinton's watch as secretary of state, is likely to be a campaign issue. It's already a focus of Clinton's book tour
But Finlay said, "I don't know that anything would content either the news media or Republicans who intend to go after her on this, because they see it as the place where she is most vulnerable."
