Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, blasted the Obama administration for going "to the very end with their failed worldview and their failed ideology" – predicting President Barack Obama will go down as "one of the worst" in U.S. history.
The recent terrorist attack in Berlin only proves neither "Europe nor the present president of the United States understands how to stop this kind of stuff," DeLay, author of "Revival! Revolution! Rebirth!" told Newsmax TV's "The Steve Malzberg Show."
"George W. [Bush] knew it," he said. "He knew that he had to go to wherever the safe havens were for these terrorists and clean them out . . . I'm hoping that [President-elect Donald] Trump when he comes in . . . he's going after these bad guys where they are, and that's what we have to do."

DeLay also said Obama's release of more terrorists from the military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, and prisoners from U.S. lockups, illustrate a failed administration.
"They're going to go right to the very end with their failed worldview and their failed ideology," he said, adding: "His press conference last week . . . was like watching a comedy play. Him trying to save his legacy. He's going to go down as one of the worst presidents that ever served."
