Tuesday's fourth Republican debate narrowed the field to four candidates, former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey told
Newsmax TV: Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz.
"There are only four candidates now," she told J.D. Hayworth in the "NewsmaxTV Debate Special" in an interview. "Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, who debate beautifully on stage, and then the two candidates that seem relatively unaffected by the debate performances, Ben Carson and Donald Trump.

"Their poll numbers don't move much based on debate performances," she said of the two front-runners. "They have something else going for them."
