David Horowitz: Left Defends Enemies Abroad, Criminals at Home

Tuesday, 25 November 2014 06:06 PM EST

The rioting, looting and arson attacks in Ferguson, Missouri, on Monday night had nothing to do with civil rights, says David Horowitz, founder and president of the David Horowitz Freedom Center and editor of FrontPage Magazine.

"It was a demonstration in the fact that what the left is about is defending America's enemies abroad and its criminals at home," Horowitz said Tuesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV, a day after it was announced that white police officer Darren Wilson would not be charged in the death of young black man Michael Brown, 18.

"We have been witness now for four months to a raging lynch mob whose message is not a protest for civil rights — that's just one of the reigning lies of the day — its message is hang this white guy.

"Forget about the facts, just hang him because he's white and because the dead person's black or we'll destroy your town, which they did a pretty good job of last night."

Horowitz is author of "The Black Book of the American Left Volume 3: The Great Betrayal," published by Second Thoughts Books.
