Ted Cruz Pokes at Rival With New Cap: 'Make Trump Debate Again'

Seeking to push Republican front-runner Donald Trump to join the Fox News debate on Thursday, Ted Cruz's campaign began selling baseball caps Wednesday saying "Make Trump Debate Again."

The campaign posted this on Twitter:

This slogan is a variation of Trump's "Make America Great Again" motto — and it's the latest development in the controversy over Trump declaring Tuesday that he would skip the debate in Des Moines because of Fox co-anchor Megyn Kelly.

Trump has demanded that Kelly be removed from the debate — to also be moderated by anchors Bret Baier and Chris Wallace — because she has not treated him fairly.

Cruz on Tuesday challenged Trump to debate him one-on-one, and his campaign created the "Ducking Donald" effort to bring him to the Iowa Events Center on Thursday.
