A new video ad from The Republican National Committee is taking aim at President Obama for asking the wealthy to pay more taxes while he also asks for their money to fund Democrats.

The president goes to California next week, where he will headline a $5,000-per-person cocktail party and a $32,500-per-person dinner to benefit the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

The Internet ad says it’s hypocritical of Obama to first try taking away more money from the wealthy in taxes and then to try taking their money for the DCCC.

"On the campaign trail, Obama ran against the wealthy 1 percent. But when you're not looking, where's President Obama?" reads text during the ad. Trolling for cash is the answer.

The ad repeatedly plays a clip of Obama saying “pay a little bit more.” Then the text says, “Pay a little bit more … in campaign cash? It’s the definition of hypocrisy.”

Separately, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus ripped Obama for making the fundraising foray when he hasn’t yet released his annual budget.

"Barack Obama has his priorities completely backward — prioritizing billionaires over the taxpayers who demand and deserve a budget, and canceling White House tours while he spends $180,000 an hour flying Air Force One to fundraise on billionaires row,” Priebus said in a statement.
