Pollster and author Scott Rasmussen will take to the airwaves with a new nationally syndicated half-hour television show. The program, “What America Thinks with Scott Rasmussen,” will debut in September.

The program, a joint venture between Telco Productions and Rasmussen Reports, will air on Sundays on 50 stations across the country including WCBS in New York, KCBS in Los Angeles, KYW in Philadelphia, and outlets in San Francisco, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Miami, Memphis and New Orleans.

“We are extremely excited about teaming with WCBS-TV, given the station’s long history of news programming” said Alex Paen, President of Telco Productions.

The show is described as a “panel-driven weekly, drawing upon Rasmussen Reports independent public opinion polling data on the latest political, economic, business and lifestyle issues.” Additionally, the affiliated stations will receive daily updates from Scott Rasmussen on the latest polling data on current events, business topics, and Election 2012 that can be used as part of local newscasts.
