Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain doesn’t think too highly of the new campaign platform pamphlet unveiled by President Barack Obama Tuesday.

The 20-page glossy publication is called “The New Economic Patriotism: A Plan For Jobs & Middle-Class Security.” It’s a repackaging Obama’s previously proposals concerning the economy, energy, and education.

“Coming out with a little booklet two weeks before the election and saying, ‘Here’s what I’m gonna do in the next [four years]’ is an insult to the American people,” Cain said on Fox News Wednesday, Politico reports.

“What have you been doing in the last four years? The plan for the last four years is the same as the plan for the next four years: spend, spend, spend. That’s all that’s in the little blue book.”
