Hayden: China Driving Neighbors Into Arms of U.S.
Ex CIA chief Michael Hayden says China overplayed its hand in recent moves to dominate the South China Sea, driving a number of Pacific Rim countries to strengthen relations with the United States. “Everybody in that region is now saying, ‘Where are the Americans? We would like the Americans to be here,’ says Hayden. “The Chinese can’t view that to be a positive development. But they did it. They created it.”
