Top US Officials Held 2-hour Meeting on Egypt

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Top U.S. officials including Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton participated in a two-hour meeting Saturday morning about the situation in Egypt, a White House spokesman said.

President Barack Obama, who did not attend the meeting, was to receive an update from his national security staff later on Saturday, the spokesman said.
