Fox News: Obama, Sec. Clinton Used Arms Dealer as Scapegoat

The Obama Administration and the Hillary Clinton-led State Department tried, and failed, to use American arms dealer Marc Turi as a scapegoat in a weapons program to arm Libyan rebels that spiraled out of control, Turi told Fox News  in an exclusive interview, his first since his criminal charges were dropped.

"I would say, 100 percent, I was victimized . . . to somehow discredit me, to throw me under the bus — you know — to do whatever it took to protect their next presidential candidate," he told Fox News in the video above.

"Those transcripts from current as well as former CIA officers were classified. If any of these relationships [had] been revealed, it would have opened up a can of worms. There wouldn't have been any good answer for the U.S. government especially in this election year."

The Justice Department dropped his charges to avoid public revelations of the failed weapons program that would have damaged Clinton’s presidential candidacy, Turi told Fox News.

"[I] lost everything — my family, my friends, my business, my reputation," Turi said, adding he was "targeted by the Obama Administration."
