Roger Ailes Signs Four Year Deal to Run Fox News, Stations

Roger Ailes has signed a new, four-year deal to run Fox News Channel, Fox Business Channel, Fox stations, and 20th Television, Howard Kurtz reports.

"Exclusive: Roger Ailes signs 4-year deal with News Corp to run Fox News, Fox Biz, Fox stations, 20th TV. Ink hasn't dried yet on contract," tweeted Kurtz, the media reporter for the Daily Beast and host of CNN's "Reliable Sources."

Ailes is the chairman and CEO of Fox News Channel and chairman of Fox Television Stations Group.

NewsCorp. representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Ailes signed a similar five-year contract with News Corporation in 2008. He has been with News Corporation since 1996, the year
