Both Jindal and Gutierrez backed Mitt Romney but distanced themselves from his comments this week that President Barack Obama won re-election by giving his base coalition "extraordinary financial gifts from government."
Jindal tells Fox New Sunday that insulting people by saying their votes were bought isn't a good start.
