Presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty on “Fox News Sunday” emphasized the similarities between Obamacare and rival Mitt Tim Pawlenty, Healthcare Reform, 2012 Presidential ElectionRomney’s healthcare plan that went into effect when he was Massachusetts governor, labeling President Barack Obama’s healthcare plan “Obamneycare,” according to Politico.

“President Obama said that he designed Obamacare after Romneycare and basically made it Obamneycare,” the former Minnesota governor said.

Pawlenty, who will debate Romney for the first time Monday in New Hampshire, told host Chris Wallace that “the president’s own words [are] that he patterned in large measure Obamacare after what happened in Massachusetts. What I don’t understand is that they both continue to defend it.”
