Palin's Eight Best Pokes at Romney

By    |   Tuesday, 21 February 2012 01:30 PM EST

Sarah Palin has not endorsed anyone in the Republican presidential race, but she’s made it pretty clear that Mitt Romney is not her favorite.

Politico listed what it called Palin’s eight “best pokes” at the former Massachusetts governor. They include digs at his “evolving” conservatism and his claims about the number of jobs created during his tenure at Bain Capital.

“Gov. Romney has claimed to have created 100,000 jobs at Bain, and people are wanting to know, is there proof of that claim and was it U.S. jobs created for United States citizens?” she said Jan. 11 on Fox News.

Politico also included a double-edged Palin swipe that took in both Romney and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

“Sometimes, if your candidate loses in just one step along this path, as was the case when Romney lost to Newt the other night — and, of course, Romney is Chris Christie’s guy — well, you kind of get your panties in a wad, and you may say things that you regret later,” Palin said Jan. 24 on Fox Business Network.
