President to Promote Obamacare on 'Ellen'

By    |   Wednesday, 19 March 2014 01:26 PM EDT

President Barack Obama is set to appear on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday in his latest bid to sell the Affordable Care Act to those who have not signed up, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The commander in chief will appear on the nationally syndicated show live via satellite from the White House.

The appearance follows Obama's humorous chat with actor Zach Galifianakis, which went viral online. He also called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show to promote health care.

Vice President Joe Biden has also been promoting the ACA in recent weeks.
Americans have until March 31 to sign up for a government-regulated healthcare plan.
