A high level LIGNET source who visited Iran in early August reports that the country’s economy is in a fragile condition and is facing challenges that have gone unreported in the West. LIGNET’s source passes along information from his Iranian contacts that Iran’s nuclear program is further along than many outside observers believe and that Iran misunderstands the current state of U.S.-Israeli relations.
