Monmouth Poll: Clinton Leads by 6 Points Nationwide

Democrat Hillary Clinton has a 6-point advantage over Republican White House rival Donald Trump, according to the final pre-election national Monmouth University poll released Monday.

The breakdown:

 

  • Hilary Clinton: 50 percent.
  • Donald Trump: 44 percent.
  • Gary Johnson: 4 percent.
  • Jill Stein: 1 percent.

The poll surveyed 802 registered voters from Nov. 3-6. The overall results have a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
