Todd Palin Played Key Role In Palin Administration

Todd Palin had his own job and a growing family to care for, but he still managed to offer guidance and advice to his wife when she was governor of Alaska, emails released from the state show. He weighed in on a number of issues that were important to Alaskans, from personnel decisions to wildlife.

The Washington Post reports Todd Palin played a key role in the controversial ouster of Alaskan Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan in September 2008. He also advised his wife on how to handle Alaska’s growing wolf population. Because of her husband’s counsel, then Governor Palin told her fish and game commission she was against using helicopters to hunt wolves and instead wanted to hire private hunters.
