The softcore pornography actress who appeared in an ad that was pulled by the Ted Cruz presidential campaign last week says she shot six commercials for the Texas senator in all.
"I had been waiting for the ads to air since they were shot several months ago," Amy Lindsay, a Houston native, told KTRH radio's Matt Patrick Monday, the
Houston Chronicle reports.
The original ad shows a group therapy session where conservative voters discuss being double-crossed by Sen. Marco Rubio.
"Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time," Lindsay tells
another group member.
The ad was quickly pulled by an embarrassed Cruz campaign when news surfaced of Lindsay's past.
The actress, who has appeared in films with such titles as "Bikini Airways," "Radio Erotica," "Carnal Wishes," and "Sex Games Vegas," told the radio host that she wasn't told at the time the ads were shot that they were for Cruz, but she was aware that they were made to support a Republican candidate, the Chronicle reports.
She told Patrick she is a conservative and believed the lines she was reciting in the commercials.
"I have always voted on the right," Lindsay said.
