Drudge Report Slammed For 'Black Lives Kill' Headline

The Drudge Report is under fire after its editors used an opinionated headline — "Black Lives Kill" — last week while linking to an article about the slaying of five Dallas police officers.

And some longtime Drudge readers are so upset, they're vowing to stay away from the popular news aggregator founded by newsman Matt Drudge, The Wrap reports.

National Review writer David French tweeted:

I just deleted my Drudge app.

Noel Rothman, an assistant online editor at Commentary Magazine, tweeted:

In moments like these, we should do the opposite of what Drudge is doing. Not saying it's right or wrong; merely imprudent.

The Stop Trump PAC tweeted:

Oliver Darcy, a writer for Business Insider, called the Drudge banner "a race-baiting headline."

The Wrap said it had reached out to the Drudge Report for comment but had not yet received one.
