Donald Trump has higher engagement with voters than Barack Obama did eight years ago and will win the presidency, an artificial intelligence system that correctly predicted the winner of the last three presidential elections concludes.

According to CNBC, the MogIA system, developed by Indian entrepreneur Sanjiv Rai, was created in 2004. It uses 20 million data points to analyze an election and has determined that Trump will beat Democrat Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House.

"If Trump loses, it will defy the data trend for the first time in the last 12 years since internet engagement began in full earnest," Rai said, reports CNBC.

The data, which is taken from social media networks and internet search engines, shows that Trump has 25 percent more engagement than Obama did during the 2008 presidential campaign. Rai noted that engagement isn't always positive, and there are a lot more people on social media than there were eight years ago.

"If you look at the primaries, in the primaries, there were immense amount of negative conversations that happen with regards to Trump," Rai told CNBC. "However, when these conversations started picking up pace, in the final days, it meant a huge game opening for Trump and he won the Primaries with a good margin."

The analysis, however, goes against what the majority of polls are saying in regards to the race. Clinton has a lead of 5.2 points in the RealClear Politics polling average, although that number has fallen in recent days and weeks.

Other polls show Trump either ahead of or dead even with Clinton.
